The successful individual will be involved in a diverse and challenging range of design and construction projects and will form part of our department specialising in construction.

Essential Skills, Qualifications and qualities required:

Proficiency in the tools, equipment, and techniques of the trade.

Support the construction and retrofit projects

Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and basic site equipment for site preparation, and basic manual labor under the guidance of supervisors and tradespeople.

Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with site managers, designers, and other trades.

Understanding workplace health and safety regulations.

Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

Ability to perform manual tasks, lift materials, and work in various environments.

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Capacity to diagnose issues and determine effective repairs or installations.

Competence in basic mathematics for measuring, estimating, and calculating materials.
